We have a small, in-home studio for indoor portraits. If you'd like to use it, these are the backdrops that we have available. The list is always growing, so be sure to check back for new backdrops.

If you're interested in a custom backdrop, we are able to order them for a fee. Please coordinate with us at least a month in advance for this option.

On-Location

In addition to our home studio and backdrops, we are able to take our "portable studio" on-location. Here are some of our favorite spots to take our clients.

The Ludington State Park

A beautiful area with lots of locations to choose from. Anything from sandy beaches to quiet, wooded backgrounds. Great for family photos, but also for individual portraits, senior photos, or even newborns.

The Ludington State Park Beach House

A fantastic location for indoor and outdoor photos. The recently renovated interior has a log cabin feel, with a handful of different posing locations to choose from. Outdoors you can have photos taken on the wraparound walkway with Lake Michigan and the beach for your backdrop. Moving down to the sand you get all of the wonder that is Lake Michigan and its fine beaches.

Ludington Beach (Stearn's)

One of the prime locations in the Ludington area, the Ludington Beach (also known as Stearn's Park and Beach) provides an amazing lakefront setting. You also have the opportunity to capture the Ludington Lighthouse in your background, a landmark known across the country.

Summit Park and Beach

Another beautiful lakefront location that's perfect for families, children, or senior photos. Provides a great lake background, but also beautiful sandy dunes.

The Harrison Buildings

A "poorly-kept secret" location, the Harrison buildings provide a more urban/industrial styled background. Great for senior photos, but can also provide a great backdrop for family photos.

Lincoln Lake and Cartier Park

A quiet, beautiful location for small family and individual portraits. Provides a woodsy background as well as a dock and lake.
